| Who: RED Engy and Sniper Where: Sniper's room (elsewhere later perhaps?) When: November 8 What: A bit of social bothering.
It was getting on in the evening, and Sid had come back from his usual post-work shower to flop on his bed and read. The therapist he'd been seeing every Sunday had sent him home with several books to help supplement the regular sessions, and for once in his life Sid found himself earnestly trying to do his homework. Reading about winning friends and influencing people wasn't quite the same as actually doing it, though, and he found his attention wandering as the words on the page drifted out of focus. It would do him some good to keep getting out, too, he thought. He'd been able to talk to Spy without anything too awful happening, and the thought sent a little smile to his face.
He set the book down and sat up, running a hand through his hair. Best to start with somebody safe, not too unfamiliar, to practice his conversation on. In a few moments he'd settled in front of Sniper's door, and raised his hand to knock. If nothing else, he felt reasonably sure Hugh at least would forgive his lack of practice. |
