| Who: RED Sniper and Engineer (and other passersby, provided it doesn't cause too much of a crowd) When: January 5th Where: Common room What: Sid has a bit of catching up to do.
It had been a long night of sleeplessness, and a longer work day spent struggling to avoid Cliff's singleminded pursuit of punching him in the face, but promises were promises. The common room was empty as he eased the door open, but that was probably to be expected. Battle had ended less than half an hour ago, and it was likely that everybody else was still recuperating from the clamor of the day's work. His own ears were ringing considerably after so many hours of deafening gunfire, and he found himself both physically and mentally weary. He'd enjoyed himself, but after a month without killing -- well.
Still. Promises were promises.
He headed to the couch and noted his knitting, just where he'd left it the other night. Flopping next to it, he ran a thumb over the soft mound, remembering, before gathering it into his lap. He wasn't sure whether the TV worked anymore, let alone where the remote was, but at least he'd be able to take up his old hobby to pass the time.
Within a few moments the click of needles working filled the silence as he waited for somebody to pass by. |
