Who: RED Engineer, BLU Engineer and RED Pyro
When: February 14 (Valentine's Day!)
Where: BLU workshop
What: Sid attempts to spend Valentine's Day with somebody special, but is there enough Cliff to go around?
Sid set off across the lawn, boots crunching. It was only early evening, but already a thin layer of frost had begun to gather in the patchy shade on the ground. His shoulders contracted toward his body as he moved, and he grit his teeth against the winter cold, moving carefully. He had to protect the little object cupped in his hands, after all.
It wasn't fragile exactly, but the tiny thing was easily bent, and he'd poured hours into it. It had required a tiny needle and a great deal of holding his breath under bright light, and yet he still grimaced to think that this was all he had to offer. It sure didn't compare to Cliff's tiny metal sculptures, and he had the sinking feeling he'd been overestimating the impact it might have. Sure, he'd had the idea months in advance, but what did that matter when it came down to it?
"Shoulda jus' stuck with flowers or somethin'," he muttered to the
tiny knitted horse in his palm. "Chocolate, maybe." Would Cliff like chocolate? Maybe it was too girly.
He nearly walked clean past the workshop, but once he realized he had arrived there was no turning back. He carefully raised his free hand, closing his fingers around his creation, and knocked.
